April is National Facial Protection Month! As spring sports are in full swing, don’t forget your orthodontic mouth guard. A mouth guard is an inexpensive and effective way to prevent a multitude of injuries and ultimately “save your smile”. Mouth guards also provide a barrier between the braces and your cheeks and lips. It is important to use the appropriate mouthguard while in orthodontic treatment,and you can purchase a special orthodontic mouthguard in our office, just ask!
